*Serving Clients in Ontario*

You are the glue that binds your family and friends together, and the responsible one that people count on at work to get the assignment completed timely and accurately. You pride yourself on being a good friend, parent, partner, family menmber, employee, colleague, or boss. You are there for people when they need you most, sometimes (or often) placing others’ needs before your own.

You take on a lot of responsibility. You occasionally experience feelings of overwhelm, guilt, anger, sadness and resentment which rear up when you least expect. It is hard to find the joy in what you’ve worked so hard to build and pause to enjoy important and simple moments. You wish there were a few more hours in the day. I’ve lived in this loop for years and believe life is a journey towards figuring out the balance between giving to others, taking time for ourselves, and the stress of everyday life.

When working with me you may expect:

  1. We will build a holistic plan together to reach your goals, whether you want to find the joy in the simple things with the people you love, or control your emotions when you have to explain a task for the millionth time.

  2. We will use simple and effective techniques to bring moments of peace and calm to your day.

  3. We will work on setting appropriate boundaries so you take pleasure in the things you choose to do.

  4. We will develop coping strategies to manage stress to better equip you for when you reach your threshold.

  5. We will develop emotional regulation techniques you may use to better control your emotions throughout the day.
