Milad Fattahi
M.Psy., Clinical Associate (post-Masters, in supervision)
*Serving Clients in Ontario*
You have unique strengths that can help you achieve your needs, goals, and dreams. There are normal ups and downs in life. However, right now you may feel stuck, and perhaps you have been stuck for too long! This is the time to try a new approach — to get unstuck — to get back on track again.
Based on my training and my desire to understand my clients, I would be glad to help you bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. I will tailor my approach to your unique needs. I use evidence-based therapeutic tools within a nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship.
Together, we will find ways to help you break the cycle of maladaptive automatic thoughts that can lead to unwanted emotions or behaviours. Therapy will help you focus with a clearer mind to better cope with your problems. During our work together you will learn to reduce the sense of distress from unpleasant situations out of your control and shift your strengths to areas of greater control. Finally, we will work to increase your coping strategies and sense of resiliency that you can use going forward.
