*Serving Clients in Ontario*
I imagine that you are someone who thrives on fully throwing yourself into the task at hand, having a clear path, and savoring the challenges that lay ahead. However, I also know that there may be times when stress, anxiety or depression interferes with what you want in life. You may be facing feelings of panic, burnout, sadness, low self-esteem, anger and/or frustration. Whether you are a student or are fully engaged in a career, you may be struggling to navigate, to find the way, and to reach the goals you have set for yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, it seems that the unique challenges you face are not easy. In fact they seem impossible to overcome.
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential, compassionate, and collaborative space to help you identify and set healthy goals which are important to you. I aim to meet you where you are in your journey and to find an approach that best compliments YOU, as everyone is different and has a unique way of healing. I will provide you with the means to help you cope and problem solve to meet your goals. I am here to listen and support you.
Here is a model for our therapy together:
My focus in the beginning is to get to know you, and for you to understand the therapeutic process. Together we will build rapport to establish a successful therapeutic relationship, built on a foundation of respect, trust and understanding.
Together we explore your values, specific and realistic goals, and hopes for moving forward. It is important to note that these values, goals and hopes for the future could change as you learn and grow into the best version of yourself. I am here to help you navigate this journey; you are not alone.
Now that we have a goal(s), we will work together to create a plan that best suits you, as you are the expert in your life. I want us to develop a plan in which you feel confident, to help bring forth success. I will assist you in discovering and reinforcing your strengths.
It is normal to experience barriers; however, we will learn how to navigate these barriers. Together we will focus on your strengths and create a go-to plan to ensure you continue moving toward your goal(s).
This is a general outline. Together as a ‘team’ we will make sure this is a plan in which you feel comfortable and confident in.
