*Serving Clients in Ontario*
You (or your child) are strong, resilient, and aim to be the best versions of yourself despite life throwing challenges at you: some of which fuel you while others may feel limiting. Right now, you and/or your child may feel stuck, confused, frustrated, and struggling to keep it all together. Maybe you are used to doing it all and doing everything well! You may have many expectations and demands placed on you and strive to deliver. You may be putting on a brave face and trying to ignore the challenges, but sometimes everything just feels so overwhelming. Despite trying your hardest, you may feel you are barely keeping afloat and losing sight of the life you envisioned for yourself, your child, and your family when all you want is to be moving forward, where you are not only feeling better but feeling you are living your best life!
Many things can interfere with you and your family's happiness and functioning in life including, relationships, daily life stressors, life changes and transitions, academic expectations, work demands, burn-out, or maybe a difficult situation that has happened to you or someone you love. If you are struggling and want to feel better know that you are not alone and things can improve. I am here to support you through this journey.
I offer a non-judgemental, confidential, and compassionate space to ease the weight off your shoulders. I will listen to you and help you (or your child) identify your best hopes. I understand how difficult things can be, especially if you are feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed. Together, we will work to determine your goals, what is most important to you, and how you would like your life to be. With all these factors in mind, I will help you draw on your strengths to make changes, feel better, reach your goals, and help you be your most authentic self!
If you choose to work with me, here is the framework I have found to be most helpful:
Get to know you - the real you - as well as your best hopes and dreams!
Understand your concerns and challenges, and the impact they have had on your day-to-day life.
Identify your goals - what you want! What you would like to change or be different.
Utilize your strengths and resilience - this will allow you to take small steps, that will, in turn, create bigger changes and propel you toward achieving your goals and living your preferred life.
Empower and encourage you to face challenges that arise with confidence so that you can live your best life.
Together as a ‘team’ we will make sure this is a plan in which you feel comfortable and confident in.
I would love to work with you, to help you to address your concerns, reach your goals and help you move forward — down a road where you are living your best life!
