Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
*Serving Clients in Ontario*
You are resilient and carry your own internal strength. You are navigating your identity, experiences, mental health, relationships, and the systems you live in. However, the challenges of your life may be overwhelming. You may feel like you’re on autopilot or you may feel guilty for choosing you. You want to become the best version of yourself - but are finding it difficult to begin.
I am a firm believer that you hold the ability to change your life in a meaningful way. And change brings new experiences and perhaps difficulty. Like you, I am learning that it’s okay to not do it alone. Being vulnerable can be difficult. I see it as a privilege to hear your story and your experiences. I use a non-judgemental and compassionate approach. I provide a safe space for you to feel seen and heard. Together we will develop strategies to manage the challenges you face in your experiences, mind, and body, and help you to accomplish your goals.
In addition to fluent English I am adept in Urdu. As a first-generation immigrant I understand the complexities of navigating culture and diverse communities. I use a culturally sensitive approach to support you in your healing.
Here’s the plan:
Your story matters, your experiences matter. In our first session, I will focus on learning more about who you are, what you value, and what you are struggling with.
Together, we will create goals to support your growth. We will create a plan and focus on strategies to ease the challenges, and work through the complexities.
It is a privilege to support you in your journey and I value honesty! Based on your feedback, I will work to understand what is helpful to you and what is not.
Go ahead, make the biggest investment in youself, by connecting with your mind, body, and soul.
